What every dog gets with us

Nails and eyes, for free

For the health and well-being of your dog we clip nails and clean hair from in front of their eyes for free. Please call and book to make sure a groomer is available.

No cages, no drying boxes

We do not routinely cage dogs and never use drying boxes (sometimes known as 'ovens'). Dogs can socialise, play and wander around as they please, with plenty of toys and beds.

2007

Grooming since July 2007

Grooming Marvellous first opened its doors in July 2007 and has been growing in popularity ever since. Our aim has always been a relaxed, friendly salon where each dog gets the time and individual attention they need.

The full groom, start to finish

Every full groom is styled to breed standard or to your own design, and we take the time with both you and your dog to get it just how you like it.

Our full grooming service includes a double shampoo bath (shampoo, rinse and repeat), conditioner and detangler if needed, and anal glands checked and expressed if required.

Then a blow dry and a full groom, including all dead hair removal, totally combed through and knot free. Clipped, scissored, styled or hand-stripped to breed standard or your own design, style or alterations. Nail clipping, ear cleaning and plucking when necessary.

We have a range of hypo-allergenic shampoos for dogs with sensitive skin or allergies, and we're happy to use any medicated shampoos your vet has given you.

“Very happy with the service we received today. I dropped my rescue off for a bath and nail clipping, and I was really impressed with the relaxed atmosphere! He had so much fun playing with all the toys and other dogs he didn't even want to come home! And to top it off, he looked beautiful and smelt lovely! Never seen him so handsome! I will 100% recommend and be coming back! Thank you x”

“I did the one day course of learning how to groom my own dog. Not only was Jade very kind and nice, I also had a lot of fun and learnt many useful things. I can highly recommend doing the course, it's well worth it. My nervous dog even got to like Jade by the end. She is naturally good with animals and so knowledgeable. Thank you”

“Took my two dogs here this morning to get their nails trimmed. Been meaning to go for a while as it's close by. Was fairly busy in there (Saturday morning) but they sorted their nails within a few minutes, despite not having booked. Very friendly staff. Even better, went to pay and they said we don't charge for nail trimming! Bought some raffle tickets for their charity competition instead. Would definitely recommend.”

“I brought my puppy here for her first full groom and was so pleased with the result! Not only did she seem really happy and comfortable being there but she also looked and smelt lovely, we've had lots of compliments! Thank you Grooming Marvellous :)”
